Q: Will the ARMS™ system interfere with our existing hospital equipment? A: The FCC-approved ARMS™ system operates in a hospital-approved frequency band. It was specifically and optimally designed to avoid interfering with existing medical-related equipment. The Isensix technical team will work closely with your technical staff to ensure that the ARMS system will not affect existing equipment or patient’s medical devices.
Q: With extremely tight budget constraints at our facility, is the system scalable and what are our financing options? A: The Isensix ARMS™ system is highly scalable, so a participating facility may install anywhere between 30 and 500+ sensors. Therefore, the pricing is equally flexible to accommodate both single stand-alone locations, as well as institutions with locations worldwide. We offer financial options such as purchasing or licensing to fit every budget and need.
Q: How quickly will we realize the benefits with the ARMS™ system? A: Immediately. Most customers are surprised to learn that many of their storage units are operating out of their intended range and running inefficiently. Many institutions take temperature readings only once or twice per day and any fluctuations in between these readings go undetected. On the other hand, the ARMS™ system measures temperature several times per minute. ARMS™ will quickly and clearly reveal all the issues and trends with your monitored equipment so that immediate corrective action can be taken. The system provides immediate peace-of-mind derived from a high level of confidence and comfort in the integrity of your systems and equipment, as well as very tangible benefits realized from enhanced operating efficiency.
Q: What additional construction costs will we incur to install the ARMS™ system in our facility? A: None. In the vast majority of cases, the ARMS™ system can be deployed without any modification to your facilities. We do not need to pull cable or wire, or drill through walls or equipment. We can reach anyplace your existing TCP/IP network reaches.
Q: How does the system notify me if a critical problem occurs and I’m away from the facility? A: A key feature of the ARMS™ system is the Remote Event Notification. These features are fully configurable to suit your alarm notification specifications. In the event that your staff is not able to correct an adverse event at your facility, the ARMS™ system will notify you via pager, e-mail, and/or mobile phone text messaging.
Q: How easily can the ARMS™ system be configured to meet the special needs of my operations? A: The ARMS™ system is highly configurable, and can be tailored to meet virtually any need and set of standard operating procedures. You and your staff define the parameters per compliance standards, and the Isensix team will work closely with your staff to configure the system so that it meets your specifications.
Q: Will the ARMS™ system interfere with my existing wireless laboratory equipment? A: The FCC-approved ARMS™ system was specifically and optimally designed to avoid interfering with existing wireless equipment. The ARMS™ system was designed for minimal RF impact to your environment, and to be tolerant of other potential sources of interference.
Q: Can we add additional equipment as our operations grow? Is there a limit to how many sensors we can have? A: The ARMS™ system is highly scalable, with a virtually limitless number of sensors that can be deployed to meet all of your needs as your operations grow and evolve.
Q: How much time does installation require? A: A typical ARMS™ system requires a few days for installation, depending upon how many sensors are to be installed and how many separate locations there are. The first sensors can be reporting and recording data within one hour of the start of installation. Following installation, our technicians complete validation at which point the system is fully operational.
Q: How much training will my staff receive? How will I be able to interpret the data and information that the ARMS™ system provides me? A: The Isensix team will provide all the necessary training to enable your staff to operate the ARMS™ system. After the installation, Isensix will continue to provide support and education through our exclusive remote access support system. Isensix will work closely with your lead staff members to ensure that there is a smooth transition and hand-off of the system.
Q: How easy is it to access the ARMS™ system if I am away from my office? A: The ARMS™ system is web-based, running from a local server within your network. It can be accessed with any PC with a web browser, providing you have access to your network. |
