Delivering the highest level of patient care means ensuring all product preparation protocols have been met. From ensuring medications, vaccines and other pharmaceutical products have been maintained under recommended storage to securing optimal transport conditions, Guardian is the vital link in the delivery chain. Total peace of mind.

Safely Protect Vaccines
Vaccines are sensitive biological products. Some vaccines are sensitive to freezing, some to heat and others to light. Vaccine potency, meaning its ability to adequately protect the vaccinated patient, can diminish when the vaccine is exposed to inappropriate temperatures. Once lost, vaccine potency cannot be regained. To maintain quality, vaccines must be protected from temperature extremes.
The Guardian temperature sensor is installed outside the vaccine storage unit, with a temperature probe placed inside the unit. Guardian’s unique wireless sensors will capture and report temperature changes within the unit.  Should the temperature reach a level that is outside of the prescribed, acceptable range, a series of alarms and notifications instantly occurs.  As the situation is addressed, the Guardian system provides instant documentation of personnel, events and corrective actions. Guardian safeguards your operation, by providing a complete end-to-end solution for your facilities temperature monitoring needs.

COVID-19 Vaccines
According to the CDC, COVID-19 vaccine products are temperature-sensitive and must be stored and handled correctly to ensure efficacy and maximize shelf life. Proper storage and handling practices are critical to minimize vaccine loss and limit risk of administering COVID-19 vaccine with reduced effectiveness. Jurisdictions should work with staff at each COVID-19 vaccination provider site to ensure appropriate vaccine storage and handling procedures are established and followed. It is expected that cold chain storage and handling requirements for COVID-19 vaccine products will vary in temperature from refrigerated (2°C to 8°C) to frozen (-15°C to -25°C) to ultra-cold (-60°C to -80°C) in the freezer or within the dry ice thermal shipper in which product was received.
